The essentials in ten points

1. Intermediate ownership then trade. If the snap is successful, the domain name is temporarily registered in the name of Horizon Investissement. As soon as your payment is confirmed, a holder change (AFNIC "internal trade", free, within 48 h) registers you as the holder with AFNIC.
2. Price and increments. The starting bid is from €15 excl. VAT per domain name. Bid increments are shown on each domain page. French VAT at the rate of 20% is added for customers established in France and European individuals.
3. No catch, no pay. If Milodomain.com fails to recover the domain name when it is released, no amount is charged to you and the bid is deemed void.
4. Firm and binding bid. Any bid binds you irrevocably until the close. Withdrawal of a bid is not possible, except in documented cases of force majeure.
5. Payment within 48 hours. Payment is made within 48 hours following notification of award. Failing this, a formal notice is sent with an additional 72-hour deadline, then a flat penalty of 30% of the awarded price (minimum €5 excl. VAT) is due and the domain name may be reallocated to the second highest bidder.
6. Mandatory AFNIC data. The contact details entered at registration (first name, last name, full postal address, telephone, email) constitute your AFNIC Contact. They are forwarded to AFNIC only in the event of an award, strictly for the purpose of registering the domain name in your name.
7. No right of withdrawal. Public auctions are expressly excluded from the right of withdrawal under article L. 221-28, 12°, of the French Consumer Code. No withdrawal is therefore possible once the bid has been validated.
8. Third-party rights. You warrant that your bid does not infringe any third-party right (registered trademark, trade name, corporate name, surname). In the event of SYRELI, UDRP or court proceedings following your registration, you alone bear the consequences and indemnify Horizon Investissement.
9. Personal data protected. Your data is hosted in France (OVH), kept only for the strictly necessary period, and is not transferred to third parties for advertising purposes. You have all GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection) which can be exercised by email to [email protected].
10. French law, Paris court. These contractual relations are governed by French law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Judicial Court or the Commercial Court of Paris, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.

Your obligations as a user

• Provide truthful, accurate and up-to-date information, and keep it so for the entire duration of the account.
• Keep your login credentials strictly confidential and inform Milodomain.com without delay of any unauthorised use.
• Open only one account per natural or legal person, save with prior written authorisation.
• Do not place fictitious bids ("shill bidding"), do not use unauthorised robots or automated requests.
• Do not attempt to extract the content of the site for commercial or competitive purposes.
• Check beforehand that the desired domain name does not infringe a right held by a third party, in particular by consulting the INPI trademark database.

What Milodomain.com does

• Technical reservation ("snap") of .fr domain names upon their release by AFNIC, as an accredited registrar.
• Organisation of auctions according to the rules described in the Terms of Sale, with an anti-snipe window of 3 minutes + 3 rolling minutes, capped at 60 minutes beyond the initial close time.
• Collection of the price via Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. and issuance of the invoice in the name of the winning customer, within 24 hours following payment.
• Registration of the domain name with AFNIC, then change of holder to the customer's benefit after payment.
• Provision of the transfer code (AuthCode) in the customer's personal area after payment, for transfer to another registrar.

What Milodomain.com does not do

• No guarantee of snap success. Recovery success depends on technical factors that Horizon Investissement does not fully control (AFNIC delays, network availability, competition between registrars).
• No commercial or advertising exploitation of the domain name during the intermediate ownership period.
• No verification of the legal availability of the domain name with regard to third-party rights. This verification is the customer's responsibility.
• No transfer, rental or resale of your data for advertising or commercial purposes.
• No advertising or profiling cookies. Only cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the platform are used.

Dispute resolution

Any complaint should first be sent to [email protected], which undertakes to respond within a reasonable time. In the absence of an amicable resolution, consumer customers may, free of charge, refer the matter to an approved consumer mediator, whose details are provided on request. Failing this, the dispute is brought before the competent courts.

Duration, changes

The account is created for an indefinite period and can be terminated at any time, free of charge, from the personal area or by email. The contractual documents may evolve. Any substantial change will give rise to a new acceptance request at your next login, the previous terms continuing to apply to operations in progress.
