Email and password initially. Then your full contact details: first name, last name, postal address, phone, and — for legal entities — company name and SIREN. This information is mandatory because it will form your AFNIC Contact in the event of a winning bid. It is only forwarded to AFNIC if you win an auction.

AFNIC requires that the holder of a .fr domain name be established in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland. Milodomain.com applies this rule at sign-up.

Both are accepted. For a legal entity, enter the company name and SIREN number (9 digits). This information will appear on your WHOIS record at AFNIC.

That is exactly how an auction works: the highest bidder wins the domain. That is why we use a public auction system, transparent for everyone, with a 3-minute anti-snipe.

No. A bid placed is firm and final — as in any auction room. Only bid up to the amount you are willing to pay.

You set the maximum amount you are willing to pay. The system bids on your behalf automatically, step by step, each time a competitor outbids you, up to your ceiling. If you are outbid, you are notified by email. Your ceiling remains confidential.

The minimum increment is shown on each domain's listing. It depends on the current bid level (typically 5 € at low levels, 25 € above 500 €).

If a bid is placed in the last 3 minutes before closing, closing is extended by an additional 3 minutes. The cumulative extension is capped at 60 minutes beyond the original closing time. The mechanism guarantees that no bidder can win at the very last moment by sheer timing.

Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and SEPA bank transfer via Stripe. 100% secure payment, PCI-DSS compliant. The charge is only made after the domain has actually been captured.

You have 48 h to settle your bid, starting from the moment you receive the win notification. Failing this, a formal notice is sent with an additional 72 h period. If payment is not made, a flat penalty equivalent to 30 % of the winning bid (minimum 5 € excl. VAT) is due.

The invoice is issued within 24 h of payment confirmation, sent by email and available in your personal account.

Starting bids and auction prices are shown excluding VAT. 20 % VAT applies to French holders and to European individuals. European legal entities with a valid intra-EU VAT number are exempt (reverse charge).

Our margin is included in the final price. The starting bid (from 30 € excl. VAT) covers our selection, snap and domain creation costs. Beyond that, the premium reflects the value the market places on the domain.

The domain is registered with AFNIC in your name as soon as it is captured, even before you pay. After payment, management access (DNS, AuthCode for transfer to another registrar) is provided to you within a maximum of 48 h business hours.

Yes. After payment, you can request the AFNIC AuthCode from your personal area and initiate a transfer to the registrar of your choice. The operation is standard and free of charge on the Milodomain.com side. Any fees on the new registrar's side are your responsibility.

No charge is made. If we have placed a pre-authorisation on your card, it is automatically released. Possible causes of a failed snap: collision with another registrar in the same millisecond, restoration of the domain by its previous holder during the Redemption Grace Period (RGP), legal dispute.

Yes. Milodomain.com operates with direct EPP access to AFNIC, which allows us to capture domains to the millisecond after their release.

The domain is allocated in accordance with AFNIC rules. As with any .fr, it may be subject to a SYRELI or PARL procedure if a third party considers that you infringe their rights (trademark, company name). We recommend an INPI check before bidding. Milodomain.com is not party to such procedures.
